HANUMAA PROTEK automatic fire suppression systems may be used as stand-alone devices or can be fully monitored for interfacing with alarm systems triggering alarms or shutdown relays and/or full shutdown of the protected equipment. These options offer early warning of activation and greatly reduce the risk of re-ignition and further unnecessary damage.
Direct Release
The Direct Release System utilizes the SHPIPL Detection Tubing both as the fire detection device and the fire suppressant delivery system. The portion of the tube nearest the hottest point of the fire ruptures, forming an effective discharge “nozzle”. The pressure drop in the tube actuates the valve of the cylinder to open the discharge port releasing the entire contents of the cylinder through this nozzle.
Indirect release
With the Indirect Release System, The SHPIPL Detection Tubing is used only as a detection device by acting as heat detector. The fire suppression agent is delivered via. pipe or hose. Once the tube “bursts”, the suppressant is uniformly discharged through strategically placed nozzle within the protected enclosure.
